Parking and Traffic Bylaws - Updated June 9, 2022

The Board of Governors have approved new Parking and Traffic bylaws effective Friday, July 1, 2022.

As of this date, infractions will be imposed directly by Mount Royal University’s Parking and Transportation Services (PTS) and the Calgary Parking Authority will no longer issue tickets. Should you receive a parking ticket, fines will be reduced by 50% if paid within 10 days of being issued. For a full list of infractions, rates and how to pay for parking tickets, please visit the Parking FAQ.

With the new Parking and Traffic Bylaws in place, the annual permit calendar will shift, running from September 1 to August 31. This change means you may have to buy a one-time temporary summer permit, which will be available for purchase on Monday, June 20 at 10 a.m. Annual 2022/2023 parking permits for employees and Fall 2022 semester permits for students will be available for purchase Monday, August 15 at 10 a.m. using your Hotspot account.

If you have any questions regarding these changes, please email parking@222ket.com.
