Programs & Courses
Your education, your choice
At Mount Royal, we recognize that people are individuals. One size does not fit all. That is why we offer a variety of programs so you can discover the one that suits you best:
Bachelor’s degrees are four-year university-level academic programs that include a combination of courses specific to the degree topic. Most Mount Royal bachelor’s degrees include General Education courses which provide exposure to a range of ideas and academics through electives that you choose. A bachelor’s degree may include hands-on learning such as Co-operative Education, practica or an internship. Upon graduation, you will be prepared for the workforce or to continue your studies at professional or graduate school.
Diplomas are two-year, career-focused programs that combine theoretical and hands-on education for a specific field or industry. Some diplomas can prepare you for further studies in a degree program at Mount Royal or another institution.
If you need a lot of flexibility, a certificate program may be best. These one-year programs are typically designed to help you upgrade your skills, or start a new career path. Mount Royal offers both credit and non-credit Continuing Education programs.
Alternative Entrance Options
If you are looking to complete missing courses, boost existing grades, improve your competitive average, develop English language proficiency or simply want to try out a few courses before committing to a degree or diploma, there’s an alternative entrance option for you.
